Summer Term 2026
- We ended our "choir year" with two very enjoyable events ie a “Jazz Lunch” on May 10th and the summer concert on June 28th - both in Newdigate Village Hall.
Autumn Term 2026
- Wednesday 9th September: First rehearsal of the term, in Newdigate Village Hall
- Thursday 22nd October: Bridge afternoon, with Sandwiches, cake & tea. 2pm start at Newdigate Village Hall. See poster below.

The main focus for our Easter term. The festival has been held annually in Dorking, Surrey, since 1905. From the beginning, and for nearly 50 years, the Festival Conductor was the world famous composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. The present Festival Conductor is Brian Ferris and the President, is former King’s Singer Brian Kay.
It is a 2-day festival, on 9th and 10th April this year, with BGN participating on 9th. Each day local choirs sing competitively in the morning and join together for an evening concert.
